Enhancement of the right to privacy:

How long do we keep your Personal Information?

The period of time during which your personal data is stored and maintained varies depending on the purpose for which they were requested.

This leaves open the possibility that a controller or processor could face both judicial and administrative proceedings for infringing the Regulation.  (Article 77(1)).
